****Common Tests starting soon!!! Wednesday, first blood****
well i decided to blog all three days, Saturday, Sunday and todae (Monday) at one go cOz the weekend had been fairly boring for me...loLx.
Saturday was not much of a day for me, the only thing which was the highlight was going downstairs to my grandma's hse to celebrate her b'dae with a cake and a dinner. My mum prepared ngoh hiangs and brought them downstairs during dinnertime. There was a lot of food there that night but i was mainly interested in the ngoh hiangs and rice...lolx.
The night was no less entertaining than the day, as I spent the time watching television and reading through veri briefly, some of my notes...lolx.
Sunday was the main deal. The main event for the day was meetin up with my buddies, Kenny and Qinyi to attend and watch the NCC day parade. Before i got there to meet them at the fitness corner at Boonlay, I had a miscalculation of timing and therefore had no ride to Boonlay and that realli ticked me off...loLx. But everything turned out fine as i eventually got to Boonlay, as my mum drove me there.
Qinyi, Kenny and I then made our way to the busstop and hopped on the bus, 193...and proceeded to SAFTI MI. for the info of the ppl, that's where the ncc day parade was being held... that is also the place where OCS is, thats Officer Cadet School...
Well, the parade was a huge disappointment... the marching contingents were disgraceful manz... well a few of them actualli... a few of them squatted down and even almost fainted in the middle of the damned parade manz. how embarassing was that. And it wasnt even like there was sun or anything...the weather was cooling and cloudy. I guess i can say one thing in their defense, their just not cut out to standing in parades.
Hahaha... the performances were kinda funny as well. the unarmed combat and the aeromodelling performances put a smile on my face. A smile which was about to break out into a laugh that is.
Well after all that was done...the three of us made our way out of there and to the busstop to get a ride back to JurongPoint. There we had our dinner and that was pretty much about it...lolx.
I went home and had a shower and some food before calling Aaron and telling him bout the disappointing parade before saying good bye as he needed to stdy for his test which was started todae...
And todae...... i pretty much slept the entire morning away as the weather was pretty fine. lolx...suitable for hibernating. AND here i am now blogging... waiting for my eyes to get heavy on me...
